UT United States Joe Baldini 1951 ~ 2008 Joe Baldini, 57, of Jacksonville, FL passed away unexpectedly on August 16, 2008. Born on February 7, 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Joseph and Stella Baldini. He leaves behind the love of his life, his wife of 36 years Kathy Baldini; three daughters: Keri (Jimmy) Pitman, Kelli (Jason) Jerris and Amy (Travis) Wilson; six grandchildren: Josh and Kaylee Pitman, Jacob, Taylor and Abbie Jerris, and Alexandra Wilson; mother: Stella Baldini; brother, Rick (Tamra) Baldini; mother-in-law Maxine Jamison; nine nieces and nephews and countless friends. Joe worked for Southwest Signal Engineering Company for 14 years. He enjoyed playing golf, was an avid football fan and attended Mandarin Presbyterian Church. Joe will be remembered for his mischievous sarcastic wit and his amazing integrity. Those who have had the good fortune to have met him, will never forget him. Visitation will be held Thurs., August 21, 2008 between 6-8 p.m. at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 11801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, FL. Funeral service will be Fri., August 22, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Mandarin Presbyterian Church, 12001 Mandarin Road, Jacksonville, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the "Joe Baldini Memorial Grandchildren Trust"; Wells Fargo Bank; 350 W. Colorado Blvd. Suite 390; Pasadena, CA 91105; Attn: Sonia Granada.

I had no idea that he was gone. I'd like to know what happened, if possible, and when.
I remember that he was sort of a quiet kid but very nice and kind. Also very smart.

Joey was a close friend I lost touch with long ago, but will always have a place in my heart. I was very saddened by the news of his passing. As Terry Averett recently put it, "Joey was a kind and gentle soul." I couldn't agree more, and would like to extend my sincere condolences to his family.
