Stephen Derrick Craig, age 54, passed away on July 18, 2005. Born April 13, 1951 in Birmingham, England to Derrick Charles and Margaret Olive Makin Craig. Attended Granite High School, and served a mission in Scotland. Married Marjorie Parry in the Salt Lake Temple on April 10, 1973. A member of the LDS Church, and he was active in scouting and loved missionary work. He loved camping in the backyard with the grandchildren. His two priorities in life were his family and his church. Survived by his wife; children: Chalese, Candis Basham, Rebecca (Jason) Walk, David Derrick (fiancee, Sarah Mitchell); grandchildren, Aspen, Breckin, Sheridan, Jaxon; mother and father, Margaret and John Oreno; sister, Anne Marie Ford. Preceded in death by his father, Derrick. Funeral services will be Friday, July 22, 2005 at 11 a.m. at the Deerfield Ward, 4322 South 5400 West. Friends may call on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Friday one hour prior to services. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
