MURRAY--Rory Lane Reynolds, age 42, passed away in his sleep May 21, 1994. Born July 8, 1951 in Salt Lake City to James Reynolds and June Weidenbacher. Married Ruth Tobin on April 1, 1983 in the Jordan River LDS Temple; later divorced.
Rory served in the U.S. Navy, was a member of the LDS Church, and loved animals and to ride motorcycles.
Survived by his father, James, and stepmother, Ricki, of Murray; sister, Tracy Bowman (husband George), Murray; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.
Graveside services Wednesday, May 25, 1994, 12 noon, Elysian Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South. Friends may call Wednesday, 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State

Didn't hang much with Rory in high school. It was surprising when, in boot Navy boot camp in San Diego Rory and I "bumped" into each other and realized that we were high school class mates. Any port in a storm, we helped each other survive those very strange activities that one must endure in basic training. So sorry to hear of his loss.
