Robert Lynn Sackett, 1351 West 400 North, 25, died December 7, 1976 of cancer. Born May 4, 1951, in Salt Lake City, to William E. and Beth Farnsworth Sackett. He married Kathleen Smith May 5, 1973, in Reno, Nevada. He was a member of the LDS Church, and served in the U.S. Army. He was a former shipping clerk at Univac. Survivors include his wife, daughters Chelsea Jean and Heather Lynn, all of Salt Lake; his parents of Murray; brothers and sisters, Norman Wayne; Evelyn Phillips; Bonnie Jean Abraham; all Salt Lake; Mrs. Ted (Diane) Stephens, Kearns; grandparents, Mrs. Venola Farnsworth, South Salt Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Hawkins, Thistle, Utah. Funeral services will be Saturday at noon, Winder 12th Ward LDS Chapel, 951 East 3825 South. Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, and Saturday, one hour prior to services at the chapel. Interment at Elysian Burial Gardens.
