Susan actually wrote to me while I was serving as a missionary to tell me she was getting married. After I returned home, a group of us had gotten together at her house for a barbeque. Her baby boy was due in about two months. It was a real shock when Phyllis (Larsen-Wright) called to say that she was critically ill in the hospital after the birth of her baby. She was a very fun, compassionate and talented friend.
Susan and I worked together, while all of us got our paychecks, Susan was working for her trip to Europe. Sue brought me back Belgium lace, I still have. We talked just before she delivered her second baby,then she was gone. I have often thought of Sue through the years and wondered about the family she left behind. Sue was a delight, a trustworthy friend. Remembered often with love. Karen
