Comments:

I left in Nov. 1969 on a mission to Alaska and British Columbia, Canada. When I came home, I met Janet Lawrence, Vicky (Broadhurst) Burhhardt's cousin and we were married shortly thereafter. We have moved our family around somewhat, spending a few years in Alaska, ten years or so in Wyoming and the last twenty one years in Idaho. We moved to Brigham City, Utah in 2013 and have loved being closer to our children. Most of my career has been in the oil refining, natural gas production and pipelining business. I worked for Chevron Corporation and Caribou Oil Refining. I also worked for the State of Alaska, on the Alaska Marine Highway, making our home in Ketchikan, AK. I worked for Micron Technology for a few years producing computer chips in Boise. We moved to Brigham City, Utah after I retired and have enjoyed the Temple and community. I have been a scheduler and tour guide for the Box Elder Tabernacle for the last five years.
We have seven wonderful children, two boys and five girls, resulting in twenty-three grandchildren to date. We are now empty-nesters, attempting to keep up with the grand kids!.

School Story:

I am so grateful for all the wonderful people who were such good examples and friends to me. I feel that I am the aggregate sum of all the experiences of my life, and some of the best were with my fellow Granitians. When I think back on our rat hunting, toilet-papering (even if it was the wrong house! Sorry Ralph, it was Jerry's idea!), duck hunting and other crazy activities, it is a wonder that I graduated at all.
Can anyone remember the underground newspaper that Lee Swenson and friends published in their office machines class? Did Wharton ever get all the shaving cream out of his nose from the Pep Assembly? What a life...what an education.

Judy Ann Lewis Allgood

Judy Ann Lewis Allgood was a devoted sister, friend, mother, and grandmother whose time on earth was unfortunately cut short. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and friends August 13, 2018 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Judy was born to Harris Lewis and Ida Lewis on March 26, 1951. In her time, she enjoyed camping. This was her happy place. She loved the fresh mountain air to clear her mind and get a fresh start. She also enjoyed baking, crafting, and babysitting her grandkids. The triplets were her life, and she will greatly be missed by them. Judy’s career was in purchasing and she made many friends. Everyone loved her homemade sugar cookies. For every potluck, she was told, not asked, to bring them for all to enjoy.

Judy is survived by her four daughters; Lisa (Dustin) Tafoya, Kathy (Clark) Woods, Rhonda (Kevin) Taber, and Melissa Allgood (Jason). Her sister Linda Darcy, her brother David (Gail) Lewis, as well as her many friends, family, and especially, her triplet grandchildren; Edward, Evin, an Eva.

Judy is proceeded in death by her father Harris Lewis, her mother Ida Lewis, and her granddaughter Emma.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Larkin Mortuary on 260 East South Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah. There will be a viewing held at Larkin mortuary on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 6:00~8:00 PM and before services on August 18, 2018 from 9:45~10:45. Interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
