Charlie was my best friend at Central Jr High School, we ran track together, we sang in a rock group together and chased girls together, Charlie was a really nice kid, I heard that he died when a fork lift malfunctioned at work and a large load of pipes fell on him.

Charles was my neighbor my entire life. We were friends, pals, playmates, sports pals and spent many, many hours in the evening looking up to the sky and just talking about life. I will long remember those years. In fourth grade at Madison Elememtary School, we were running in the classroom during recess as kids did and I shut the coat closet door to get away from him not realizing his thumb was in the way. Needless to say he had to have surgery.
