I retired in 2012 from teaching special ed., but I still work part time teaching for special programs in Granite School District. It is nice. I can go on a trip and I don't have to make substitute plans. I'm a happy woman.

Had my knee replaced in 2016. I want to have my foot replaced soon (surgery to deal with the arthritis) There is more of me to love than the last time I updated my profile...DARN!

Life has been very good to us. It is uphill, but all the important things are an uphill exercise in endurance.

Funny School Memory: The Pep Club was on a bus to an "away game" Nellie gave my right eyelashes a quick hard tug. "Ouch!" Needless to say I was surprised by what brought that on. I looked up... and she said, "I just wanted to see if they were real."

Funny & Embarrassing Situation: My father and I were drawing the winners from the Girls' League's Father Daughter activity. After my father drew the second ticket, I kept calling the number, but no one came up to claim the prize. Finally, I asked Dad to check his. Yep! He was the winner, but we drew another ticket.

I'll have to think of more. I really like funny in this stage of life.

I loved when Bonnie Black and I would sit in Oscar Anderson's Geometry class in 10th grade. We would get one of the guys to ask a football question. It worked every time. He did a football discussion while Bonnie and I finished our homework. I learn geometry and it was probably the only class in which we actually finished the text book. I still understand side:angle:side, but I wouldn't know how to begin to complete the proof of a theorem.
