Comments:

I left in Nov. 1969 on a mission to Alaska and British Columbia, Canada. When I came home, I met Janet Lawrence, Vicky (Broadhurst) Burhhardt's cousin and we were married shortly thereafter. We have moved our family around somewhat, spending a few years in Alaska, ten years or so in Wyoming and the last twenty one years in Idaho. We moved to Brigham City, Utah in 2013 and have loved being closer to our children. Most of my career has been in the oil refining, natural gas production and pipelining business. I worked for Chevron Corporation and Caribou Oil Refining. I also worked for the State of Alaska, on the Alaska Marine Highway, making our home in Ketchikan, AK. I worked for Micron Technology for a few years producing computer chips in Boise. We moved to Brigham City, Utah after I retired and have enjoyed the Temple and community. I have been a scheduler and tour guide for the Box Elder Tabernacle for the last five years.
We have seven wonderful children, two boys and five girls, resulting in twenty-three grandchildren to date. We are now empty-nesters, attempting to keep up with the grand kids!.

School Story:

I am so grateful for all the wonderful people who were such good examples and friends to me. I feel that I am the aggregate sum of all the experiences of my life, and some of the best were with my fellow Granitians. When I think back on our rat hunting, toilet-papering (even if it was the wrong house! Sorry Ralph, it was Jerry's idea!), duck hunting and other crazy activities, it is a wonder that I graduated at all.
Can anyone remember the underground newspaper that Lee Swenson and friends published in their office machines class? Did Wharton ever get all the shaving cream out of his nose from the Pep Assembly? What a life...what an education.

Hi Shar! Yes, we are still here! Look for announcements coming soon about the 55th class reunion! (Can that be correct? Seems like time went by too quickly!) Have a great day!
